Back in 2005/2006 we launched the first keepnet bag called the Midwater Luggage Netlugger (the internet is great for forum mentions lol). At the time we were the first to be offering a bag to hold two large keepnets (like the Middy Big Gobs) for the Match Angler, but back then in small numbers. The stink bag became quite popular and quickly mass-produced by overseas manufacturers. These days Match Anglers use six or more nets so the game changed somewhat. The barrow has also changed the requirements and so luggage has evolved accordingly.
Midwater Keep Net Bags are now designed to be compatible with front barrow bags. Although you don't need a barrow to use this versatile piece of luggage. We do not have any affiliations to barrow bag manufacturers nor endorse any as being better than any others. We have therefore disguised a barrow bag for size and visual aid purposes.
Two sizes of bag are available that will hold either 2 or 6 Carp Net Mesh 3m keepnets for instance. Again we have no affiliations with the keepnet manufacturers and have used one for illustration and sizing purposes
Water-proof 600d materials the bags are fully lined with a hygroscopic fill and lining (as with premium side tray bags for those that have them). Designed with extra wide opening tops for ease of access/egress of the nets. These bags are not water-tight as they are stitched with bonded threads for maximum strength. ANY bag that is sewn cannot by default be water-tight for obvious reasons, with thousands of tiny perforations from the sewing needle they will slowly leak.
These will hold nets of 50cm x 40cm openings.
As with any of the Midwater range if you need something a different size or an olive or burgundy trim, just get in touch for our custom service.
