Sometimes you just need a clean area to put certain things on or somewhere to kneel when un-hooking fish (that can be moved to suit where you need to kneel). Sometimes you need to keep certain equipment out of the mud or gravel. Bait Boats are a classic example of this and the Midwater Ground Sheet is perfect for helping keep your bait boat scratch free. High quality luggage is also better kept out of the mud (and keeps mud and dirt to a minimum in the car later) so a large area to stack the now empty luggage is perfect for this. We are sure there are many uses including a wet sheet for unhooking mats as well for instance and as usual many of you will find innovative ways to use them.
Our Brand Manager who is an ex-infantry Veteran suggests roving anglers can quickly turn the large or extra large ground sheet into a makeshift tent / bivouac with some paracord or bungees if caught out in a downpour and has personally done this many times. A bivvy or brolly in under a minute.
The Extra Large has also been used as a BARROW COVER as pictured. Picture courtesy of Steve Johnstone with thanks. We are sure there will be other innovative uses so please keep the pictures coming.
The Small 100 cm x 75 cm, the Large 150cm x 100cm and the Extra Large 150 cm x 250 cm has a bound edge and four d-ring pegging down points.
As if by magic, they fold nicely into one of our Tote Bags. So a makeshift tent/brolly in a bag for next to nothing.
